    Muscles burning.

    The phantom shrilled in her ear as its talons dug into her skin. She could feel the blood seeping into her clothes. Everyone was yelling as they tried to get to her, unable as they were all caught up with monsters of their own.

    Her left arm buckled, it was small, but just enough for the phantom to sink its claws even deeper into her left shoulder. From there, her resolve fell.

    "Ashlyn!"

     

    Or, the solar lights can't protect them anymore, and Ashlyn gets hurt.
