the vidyadhara biology was cool, am a geek so I have to document my imagination here: the eggs are like.. shell-less. just the membrane, like how fish eggs are in water. flexible (and probably also slippery) enough for dan heng to push out easily, still tough enough not to break right away. the membranes will eventually erode / dissolve on their own, so the contents spill out (mimics water breaking lmao??)
