Summary
There are a lot of things that George prides himself on.
He prides himself on being a hard worker when he does work, prides himself on getting A’s all through secondary school and University. He prides himself on managing to keep such a sharp separation between his public and private lives, and rarely having the two bleed into each other more than he allows.
For the most part, it works. He gets a few odd comments from his friends about wishing he would open up more or talk about his feelings, but it’s all easily brushed off comments in passing. It works for George, so it works for everyone else.
Mostly everyone else.
It doesn’t work for Dream.

Shane rests his head against the window. Breathes in, out. Clenches his hands into fists on his lap, then slowly uncurls them.
Nothing between his fingers now. No bedsheets, no shirt, no Ilya. No proper goodbye.
No kiss.
"Fuck," he breathes out. Fuck.
This isn't the same as all those years ago. It isn't, and he knows it. But there's a strange, hollow feeling that's starting to expand in his chest. Making his ribs feel brittle, his lungs made paper-thin.
Shane drops. It's unfortunate timing.

“We can’t do this tonight.” Iwaizumi grunted, trying to restrain himself and biting back a groan when Oikawa slid against him just right. Oikawa released his hold on Iwaizumi’s shirt, this time letting his hand fall down and drag over the taut stomach of the boy trapped below him, fingers catching in the hem of his shorts and dragging them down as he slipped off the bed.
"I'm not gonna try anything, Iwa-chan."
Iwaizumi really didn't believe him.
