Ziva huffs, her fingers splayed on her lap as she stretches. “Love is more than a feeling, Tony. It is a choice. You choose to be with somebody. She could have chosen--”
“We don’t all make smart choices when it comes to who we love.” He doesn’t meet her eyes when he says it, but then he turns to face her and that impish grin is back, a mask slipped firmly in place. “But sometimes, bad choices make for the best stories,” he says with a wink.
