Summary
A few months after the death of Khotun Khan, Tsushima is easing its way into a slow and agonizing recovery. Jin Sakai, now branded as a traitor, is left to be lost on the island whom he swore to protect. With the threat of imprisonment by the shogunate, he is forced to remain hidden away near Omi Monastery as he tries to start his life over again. With all the horror he’d endured, his unresolved trauma proves this dream to be nearly impossible. As the threat of the next Mongol invasion grows and the shogun’s patience wears thin, Jin continues his service to his people as the Ghost. Though, his life as a lone warrior is unexpectedly accompanied by an orphaned baby girl… a Mongol girl.
