Summary
The DMV had asked for his driver’s license (the photo was taken when he was nineteen, memorializing his “it’s-not-a-phase” phase), his birth certificate (Hubert knows neither where nor why he was born, but he owns an official-looking document that says “Baby Vestra” and his birthday all the same), and three proofs of his new residence (tragic bank statement, astronomical air-con bill, subscription to the Adrestian Carnivorous Plants Quarterly). He filed the documents into his meticulous binder because Hubert does not treat disrespect as an excuse for disarray. The most formidable enemy is an organized one, and Hubert was itching to burn the DMV to the ground with his color-coded tabs.
(Hubert will admit the errand did end with a fire, albeit a very small and mostly-not-on-purpose one).
Hubert needs his address changed on his drivers license. It's the most difficult thing he will ever do in his life. A giveaway fic for CalamityRobin!
