Summary
During their last meeting, Cerces revealed that Anaxa was already dead and that his current state is only possible due to Cerces’ Coreflame being inside his heart. This allows him to survive, but his body will gradually become colder and colder, causing his vessel to be damaged, which lowers his chance of coming back to life. As the leader of Chrysos Heir, Aglaea couldn’t have that. If the Heir to Reason is gone, the Flame-Chase would come to a halt, which can’t happen now that the Black Tide is approaching much faster. Or so she told herself, but maybe there was also another reason?
