Summary
Jayce wakes up in another world and is devastated to find that he cannot see Viktor with him. Replaying every moment they shared, he feels the sharp pain in his chest once again, he is alone without his partner. He has so many questions, and some of the answers his mind leads him to are unbearable. However, something about his surroundings feels so familiar, as if he has known this very soil forever.
Meanwhile, Viktor is worried because Jayce has been out in the field for a while and hasn't come back.
