Summary
Rehearsals were usually not this brutal, at least, Paul would like to think so. A day of arguing, playing the same songs over and over, trying to fine tune them into perfection. Seemed they all were upset with Paul, his tendencies to be "control freak", as they called it. To Paul it was passion. He really just wanted the best for the Beatles, and sometimes that required some tough love, they've experienced it before, they can handle it again.
Paul tries to become the leader the Beatles desperately need, while also managing his own personal relationships and the strain he keeps putting on them. Especially with the one who seems to be most hurt with his new mindset, George.

Summary
He didn't want it to be just a moment. Didn't want to stay temporarily, he wanted forever. The wind ruffled his hair, they were on a time limit, both with this whole concert-on-the-rooftop business and regarding the band itself. God, Ringo knew it all too well. Between George's short leave and Paul's continued controlling tendencies, they were all just sitting ducks waiting for it to be over.
It'd all be over.
Ringo finds himself overwhelmed with the state of the band during a practice session, and tries to calm himself on the roof.

Summary
December 1966, London.
The Beatles are deep into recording their next album, and the late nights are starting to take their toll. Strange reflections. Blurred faces. The harder Paul tries to make sense of everything, the more it slips away.
~
Or the one where Billy Shears starts inserting himself into the complexities of Paul’s relationships, particularly he and John’s.
