Aren’t you going to eat something too?” Donovan asked as he took a sip of his orange juice, “nah” John said as he continued reading the newspaper, Donovan’s eyebrows bent together, sadness clear in his eyes, he knew exactly what this was.
“You sure? You barely ate anything of the pizza yesterday” Donovan said, “I’ll eat later, don’t worry about it” John said as he placed the newspaper down and grabbed a cigarette and a lighter, “John.” Donovan said as placed the tray of food on his bedside table and turned back to the bed, John looked at him with his cigarette in his mouth, “I want to talk to you about something..” Donovan started, John lay there looking at him expectantly, “I’m worried about you.” He said, John’s face twisted in confusion.

I'm just rewriting a story because I couldn't bear the grammar but also really liked the plot they were going for. Also, English isn't my first language, so pardon me in advance for any possible mistakes!
This isn't meant to be interpreted as me being mean towards the creator, I love their story with all my heart, I just needed to practice grammar and I thought maybe this could be a nice idea.
If the original author wants the story taken down I will gladly do it! And also if the public's reception isn't good and they think that it's better to not post this for respect of the original author. -
