Molly lifted the flap and crawled into the marginally warmer interior of the tent. He flopped to the ground with a groan, pulling his bag closer to use as a pillow, already beginning to drift off.
“Mollymauk?”
It was enough to wake him up completely. Instead of the deep twang he expected, the voice saying his name was soft and distinctly Zemnian.or, Molly accidentally walks into the wrong tent and gets a boyfriend out of it.

Surely Caleb wasn’t talking about them. Not that there is a ‘them’, he corrects himself quickly, but if there were, and the events of the last month or so involving the pair of them were the complications that were obviously occupying his thoughts as much as they’d occupied Mollymauk’s, then maybe-

Summary
Telling the truth could take a lot out of a person, especially when it was about your past, and double especially when you had to explain why your past was so, well, short. Still, Molly had gone to bed feeling pretty decent, all things considered. He should have known that bringing up those memories, or lack thereof, would have consequences though, might trigger some things.
