    À ce moment précis, alors qu’ils étaient entrelacés, Blythe était persuadé que l’éternité leur tendait les bras. Cela lui apparaissait comme une évidence : Eden et lui étaient liés. Là où l’un allait, l’autre suivait, avec peut-être un temps de retard, mais ils parvenaient toujours à se retrouver. C’était eux contre le monde, et rien dans l’univers ne serait capable de les séparer.

     

    Jusqu'au jour où leur foyer est détruit par le Plan-Miroir et qu'Eden meurt dans ses bras. Quatre ans plus tard, Blythe survit plus qu'il ne vit à Serendipity, un refuge niché au cœur d'une vallée paisible. Alors quand une navette aérienne se crashe à proximité de la station et qu'un fantôme du passé ressurgit dans l'existence de Blythe, le jeune homme doit faire face à la réalité.
