‘Run that by us again? Slower this time?’
Bokuto’s cheeks are red as he repeats himself, slower but barely above a whisper. Kuroo’s eyes track his mouth, the words forming on Bokuto’s lips.
‘I made her squirt.’
If a record scratch had stopped all sound in the bar, it would not have thrown off either of the couple more than Bokuto’s words did. Kuroo feels Tsukishima’s reaction in their hands, still connected, as he squeezes down on Kuroo’s fingers. Kuroo wets his lips, blinking a few times. Each half-second of silence causes Bokuto’s hair to physically begin to droop.

Summary
The pictures do not do him any justice.
His hair is darker in person, but still a rich golden blonde. His eyes are hidden by half-frame glasses, just as golden as his hair. Gold like the warm sunset on your skin, gold like the fire burning the marshmallows that radiated off of his skin. He meets Kuroo’s eyes from across the room, locking in.
Everything melts away. The ache for a drink, the tittering voices of everyone else in the room. Kuroo feels like time freezes as they hold each other's gaze.
Until everything comes rushing back in, all at once, making Kuroo nauseous. Tsukishima is moved, firmly but gently, to the side by his husband.
Ushijima Wakatoshi crushes Kuroo’s temporary solace.

What the hell is he doing, he can’t fantasize about Kuroo while Kuroo is in the room.
Tsukishima comes home from his evening class to find his roommate doing something unexpected in the living room. It leaves him with a mental image he can't escape, and a recklessness that means they'll probably never go back to normal.

Akaashi jumps to his feet before either alpha can react. He doesn’t think, doesn’t care, just runs. He doesn’t bother stopping to put on shoes, knowing if he wastes any time his alphas will catch him. He misses his nest even before he’s made it off the street, but he can’t go back there either. He can’t dare look at his nest, a structure he built so carefully, so lovingly, and thought his alphas actually liked- he’s not a masochist. He knows his mates wouldn’t turn him away fully, wouldn’t force him to spend his heat somewhere else. The idea of it though, it makes him nauseous.
