“What’s wrong, Katsuya? You hardly spoke the whole time she was here. That’s impolite, you know.” His mother chided softly and insincerely.
He wanted to remind her that so much was wrong, so much had been wrong, that he was a walking talking corpse, a zombie, a sack of stale blood and rotting insides and he was back from the dead, a place he never intended on leaving.
Instead, he gave one more weary smile and let his hands worry around each other.
