"i grow my own scallions at home. i got it as a housewarming gift from my friend, so i decided to take care of it well. at first i thought he was joking, "why is someone giving me a scallion plant as a gift?" but later i realized that it's actually a good idea to grow your own scallions at your home, you can harvest it by yourself whenever you need it in your cooking, so i thought this (re: scallions as a gift) isn't as bad as i thought it would be, although sometimes i still think this is very funny (to grow your own scallions at home)."
