    Summary

Westerberg School for Girls pushed into view, held back only by the fragile barrier of my parents’ car windscreen, a looming threat against the backdrop of the sky, eager and waiting for its one final chance to break my spirit.

Which didn’t mean Westerberg wasn’t going to find new and exciting ways of messing with me. Whether it was being pulled away from my familiar, mostly comfortable surroundings, or being forced into the orbit — and one of the rooms — of the Heathers, this year was going to be unlike any of my others here at Westerberg, my prison away from home.

    Be still, my beating heart.

    “Oh shit!”

“Oh shit to you too. You Americans really do have an odd way of greeting people. Not sure if I will ever be able to really get on with that one though. So, hello.” Lucy laughed out.

    ------Or------

Lucy is back in England permanently, and a chance encounter in a lift might just be what she needs to kick start her life off the pitch.
