In the light cast into the apartment from the streetlight outside, Steve could see the bright red lip mark on the other man’s cheek, the same colour scraped along his jaw and neck, the last of it staining the collar of his discarded shirt. The sight of it made Steve’s gut clench painfully and he curled in on himself, clutching the blanket tighter around him.
“Seems like it was a fine time without me.” Came Steve’s gruff reply, “Some dame looks to have smeared herself all over you, I don’t think I would have been missed.”
Bucky’s hand flew up to his face, touching his cheek and grinning when he saw the lipstick on his fingertips. “Aw Stevie, are you jealous?”
