Steve doesn’t know why, but he can’t stop glancing over at Eddie every couple of minutes. Not much changes, but Steve can see the dark bags underneath Eddie’s eyes much clearer than before.
Ever since the showdown with Vecna, it seems as if Eddie hasn’t been sleeping well, if at all. Steve has had to stop himself from asking about his sleep habits numerous times in the past few months; he gets it, really. After his own first experience dealing with a Demogorgon, Steve could barely sleep for weeks; when he did, it was nightmares galore.
Steve hopes Eddie is having a dreamless sleep right now. He looks like he needs it.
