Summary
“Yes, I - I just have my house clothes on,” Viktor mutters, like this is something to be embarrassed about.
The knot in Jayce’s stomach releases instantly. “Oh! Well, it is Sunday, after all. Doesn’t everyone have something comfortable on today?”
Viktor seems to ponder this. His head tilts, a loose curl of hair swaying to the side. “I suppose that’s true,” he agrees, pulling the door all the way in, frame still hidden behind it. Jayce doesn’t see it until he’s inside, turning to face Viktor, cup of coffee outstretched to his partner. He almost drops the damn thing.

Summary
Jayce is unsure how he got here. Sure it might have something to do with him swooping in and rescuing the injured merman on the shore. And that might have something to do with the men who were driving fishing boats too close to the native marine wildlife. And that might have something to do with his family supplying them with new tools…
But he still has no idea how he got here. A very clearly pissed-off merman is currently glaring up at him from his perch in his tub, face scrunched up as his tail tries and fails to splash against the water in what Jayce knows is anger.
I fucked up. Is the only thing Jayce is capable of repeating as he rethinks every choice he’s ever and that got him to this moment.

Is it really kidnapping if the other party is a merman and unable to communicate? Also...is it bestiality, monster-fucking or interraciality if you try fucking said merman?

Summary
Jayce’s eyes snap to him, and Viktor almost gasps. There’s something wrong. Well, obviously, your lab partner’s just been regurgitated from a roiling ball of energy with a beard and a massive fuck-off hammer, thank you for the observation, Viktor - but there’s something wrong with Jayce, with his eyes. He looks crazed. He looks horrified, and all the more horrified the longer he stares.
“No,” Jayce breathes. He staggers forward, catching himself with his hammer. “No. No, no, no, it can’t be you. He didn’t mean- no.”
Viktor holds out a hand like he’s soothing a feral cat. “Are you alright? I can help you. Just- just let me stand.”
He picks up his cane, leveraging himself from the ground. Jayce keeps trembling.
“Not you, that’s not- that’s not what he said, not you, I can’t kill you.”

Jayce is sent back to a time before it all fell apart.
