Xiao knew that Lumine was a traveler and what that meant. He knew that from the moment they met, there would always be a farewell. He knew that so he kept at her an arms length, built a wall around himself so that he could protect not only her, but himself. But she easily slipped in and stuck by his side, and he, like a fool, allowed it.
