Summary
We are all familiar with the little (and big) Ron and Hermione moments in the Harry Potter series. But what about the ones that Harry isn't there to witness? Or the ones that happen after the last book, outside of canon? Here is a collection of such moments, narrated by Ron and Hermione themselves.
Chapter 1 - Autumn 1993: Hagrid has brought Hippogriffs to Care of Magical Creatures class, and of course Harry volunteers to be part of the demonstration. Hermione, worried for her friend's safety, seeks comfort in Ron. Winter 1993: On the eve of a Potions exam, Ron has ruined all of his notes and Hermione offers to help him study.

Summary
“Ya know, Katniss and I. We’ve been luckier than most. I wouldn’t have any regrets at all…” and he pauses. “I-if it weren’t…if it weren’t for…” he shakes his head.
“If it weren’t for… what what?” Caesar prompts.
“If it weren’t for the baby.”
And nothing could have prepared her for that.
The only reason Katniss regrets that night from four months ago is because of everything that came after. The pain she caused him, when he realized it wasn’t real, just like everything else about their relationship. The way he pretended she didn’t exist, for months after the second victory tour. But specifically this part, where she’s being forced back into a death arena while four months pregnant. It would make her inevitable death so much easier to accept if that night had never happened.
Peeta isn’t supposed to know. So why is he telling Caesar, and all of Panem, on national television?
OR: the fic where Everlark aren’t together yet, Katniss is pregnant during the Quarter Quell, Peeta isn’t supposed to know but then figures it out, Peeta never gets taken by the Capital and hijacked, and they try to live their “happily ever after”.

On day one of waiting to see Gilbert again, Anne wakes up to find her fountain pen clenched in her fist.
She doesn't recall having fallen asleep with it, but she certainly remembers stumbling to bed with an exhaustion that could only come from a day of such wonderful things. Diana, though she had made a virtuous effort to be a devoted friend, had drifted off around one o'clock in the morning, exhausted from her long day of travel. Anne, however, had been unable to bear the idea of letting today go—Gilbert, his hand on her cheek, his lips pressed against hers, the look of hope on his face as he gazed down at her. And the sight of her mother, drawn by her father as though she was the most beautiful thing in the world.
Anne knows now what it feels like to have someone looking at you like you are the most beautiful thing in the world.
