Summary
For a moment, Uzi Doorman had everything.
Until it was brutally ripped away from her, with the sound of an eldritch horror slurping a terrified core down her throat.
Uzi wasn't killed that day, but a part of her had died with him.

Cyn is defeated, but not without consequences. After N’s death, Uzi’s life has lost all meaning. Drowning in grief and guilt, Uzi doesn’t want to live without him. But V stubbornly refuses to let her give up and die, so she doesn’t have much of a choice.
And maybe there’s a chance she’ll find something to live for. People always say that everything happens for a reason, though she doesn’t want to believe it. Maybe the universe isn’t done with the story yet.
In an unknown location, a drone awakens. The only thing he remembers is his name, and hazy flashes of memories he can’t quite decipher. He has no idea where he is, and something isn’t adding up.
And who is the purple drone he keeps seeing in his dreams?

Summary
Half a year has passed since their victory over Cyn, and things for once in her are going great for Uzi Doorman. She finally has friends, her and N's relationship has been stable, V's a whole lot less annoying, and the situation with her new head-roommate is mostly under control. All in all, a pretty good end to the story. Survived the horror movie, beat the eldritch god, got the boy, everything solved and wrapped up in a nice little bow. All that was left is to live that classic happily ever after.
At least that's what she'd thought. But after foiling another of Cyn's "pranks", Uzi begins having weird dreams. Memories that aren't her own. She starts seeing things too out of the corner of her eye, things no one else seems to notice. When all this coincides with the return of foe thought long gone, whose reappearance digs up old regrets and trauma both N and V has since buried, it's quickly made apparent that their story wasn't as entirely solved as she'd thought.
So much for a simple happily ever after.

Cyn has never left N's head, her voice and hands are practically burned into his mind. And everything she's done to him colors Uzi's attempts at affection until they're almost impossible to accept. Uzi is thoroughly undeterred.
The amount of trauma I have given this poor guy is probably concerning, I hope my therapist never finds this
