Summary
“What are you? A third grader? What the fuck is this?” Eddie asks. He looks at Richie, confused.
“A list of fun stuff to do, duh. Can’t you read? I thought you were studying creative writing.” Eddie glares at Richie, who raises his hands in surrender as he chuckles. “Okay, okay. Hear me out. Your professor tells you to write what you know, and you said you don’t know anything. Well, sugar, here’s your opportunity to learn something about yourself.”
Dumbfounded, Eddie cannot tear his eyes away from Richie, his mouth agape. “You’re insane,” Eddie says.
“And proud,” Richie replies....

Summary
Richie Tozier is Eddie Kaspbrak’s rival. At least, that’s what Eddie says to everyone who will listen—including Richie most of the time.
Richie Tozier is a man, not of lies, but of half-truths and truths said too plainly out in the open that they sound like lies to the untrained ear. He does not lie—he lets others lie for him.

Summary
Eddie rolls his eyes, but his curiosity outweighs the instinct to scold Richie’s choice of pet name, keeping him quiet as he slowly walks forward to duck under the branch, already looking around to take in their surroundings, only to come to a sudden halt at what he sees. In front of him, there’s a small bit of a clearing leading to a drop, and beyond the drop is the faint glow of street lights, buildings, and porches – all of which is coming from Derry, way below and far away from them. Feeling a little breathless, Eddie makes his way closer, scanning over the view slowly, carefully. “What is this?”
“This is a cliff,” Richie states matter-of-factly.
“That’s not what I—” Eddie stops, frowning as he looks down at the drop before him. “Okay, no, this is a hill, Richie. That’s not nearly steep enough to be a cliff.”

Summary
Going blind wasn’t something that Richie had ever even took into consideration. He had joked about it, thinking that having to wear glasses was close enough to being blind, complaining about the fact that there were people that could see for free, while he had to pay for contacts and specs, but he had never actually thought about the possibility of losing his eyesight.
