Summary
On shaking legs, Eddie slowly stood up and turned to face Dustin again. Though he had been expecting it, Eddie felt a punch in the gut as he took in the image before him. He saw himself, lying in Dustin’s arms, covered in blood. His eyes were wide open, staring into nothing. Unblinking. Eddie could feel bile rising in his throat. That was him. His body. He was dead, but somehow he was still here, still around.
Eddie sat down hard on the ground, eyes still glued to the pair in front of him.
“Fuck.”
(Or, Eddie becomes a ghost after he dies and, though he can't communicate through normal channels, tries to find his way back to the Party)

You know what,” Shouta huffs, grabbing his school bag and standing up from the bench. “Don’t answer any of that, I’ve got to get to class.”
As Shouta hurried out of the Great Hall, he caught a glimpse of Yamada’s face; instead of the hurt Shouta expected to see, he saw a look of determination cross the other boy’s face as his eyes followed Shouta out of the door.
Christ, Shouta thought, it’s going to be long year.
