Mikasa isn’t quite herself right now. She’s never been the type to take on random unspoken dares, but there’s something here — not quite desire or infatuation, but something more. She feels as though she’s meeting this person for the thousandth time, but each time she meets her, it feels as exciting as the first time.
That’s absurd, she knows. Mikasa isn’t some superstitious idiot who believes in soulmates or past lives or even fate. But if any of those things happened to exist, then this girl seemed to be at the center of it all. Logic be damned, Mikasa wouldn’t be surprised if the entire universe realigned itself just so that these two would meet.
OR
Two emotionally stunted and horny dumbasses fall in love, fail miserably at communicating, and eventually heal together.
