Summary
Lost souls always seem to find each other, often without looking. Korra and Asami are very young and very lonely, but a couple scraped knees and a parent-teacher conference find them as friends. For them and the stragglers they meet along the way, things are always good… until they’re not.
Don’t let anyone say that growing pains don’t really hurt.

Summary
It became clear very quickly that Asami Sato was a bit of legend at Future Industries. You weren’t surprised, exactly, but it was funny how much she actually fit the word. The exaggerated—because they had to be—stories about her that floated throughout the cafeteria. The way everyone would immediately snap to attention in her presence. The way she could command a room, even if she was only breezing through it. To your co-workers, Asami Sato was an enigma not to be decoded, just viewed from a distance.
But Asami Sato was not the reason you had come to work at Future Industries. Against all odds, Future Industries had not only decided to give you a grant straight out of university, but they let you hand pick a team to make your dream a reality.

metalwarrior22 asked: "Idk if you're still taking prompts, but I once saw a text post of a table full of guys and a girl. All the guys are hitting on the pretty waitress but in the end it's the polite girl in the group that ends up with the pretty waitress' phone number. I was thinking Korrasami with Korra being the waitress bc she dated the whole krew at one point or another. As for more than two guys (Mako and Bolin) I don't know who else they could be :P"
--
It’s technically my birthday now and I am feeling significantly less terrible, so have a gift from me!
I knew I had read this text post before, but I couldn’t quite remember it and when I wrote this I was on a plane and couldn’t actually look it up. So I’m sorry if this isn’t quite what you were looking for, but I hope it’s entertaining anyway! -

Summary
She used to call her parents' cabin in the political wing of Republic home. It was modest but comfortably furnished, a luxury afforded to members of the council. It was there she had bent water for the first time and made her father so proud.
It was there that she had bent fire for the first time and changed everything.
It had never happened before. In the five hundred years since Republic had separated from Earth and its colonies no one had been able to bend more than one element. Her parents were questioned. Korra was examined. But no one had any answers.

"If you're still looking for prompts: post spirit world? Like return headcanon or settling in to the physical world in a new relationship"
--
This is a little tougher since the return is going to be covered in the comics. I like this prompt though because I like thinking about Korra and Asami navigating those first fragile weeks of a new relationship while simultaneously being, well, them. Here's a gross headcanon from their first week back.Series
