Summary
After a brush with freezing to death, Miles can't help thinking of the unsundry way he and his second-in-command managed to stay alive for the frustrating hours he spends in the infirmary. When he finally feels strong enough, Miles sneaks out for some sorely overdue alone time.
It's just his goddamn luck his second-in-command follows him, until an impromptu fling turns out to be exactly what both of them need.

Summary
Lyle knows Quaritch way too damn well not to be certain that if he didn’t want something, he would say so. Immediately. And loudly. And very clearly.
Which makes it all the more gratifying when the colonel practically melts at his words.

Summary
The sensation of it, though not yet at the stage of kicking, is uniquely overwhelming in a way Quaritch cannot quite describe. He looks bloated if anything, still so early on in the pregnancy.
And yet, Varang has begun clinging to him as though he is nine months along and barely able to move. She has not let him out of her sights once since she performed a checkup on him and confirmed that, finally, he is with child.
