Summary
Enjolras just wants to perform in great plays, inspiring his audience with words they will forever remember. Unfortunately, he's saddled with a playwright who just seems to write sarcastic diatribes and dick jokes. Even half his words are made up, for goodness' sake.
A Shakespeare AU.

Summary
Grantaire had never spoken about work in Enjolras’ hearing, and Enjolras had never really bothered to ask. The problem with this was the surprise he got about five minutes into his new job at American Bowl, the faux-American bowling alley on the edge of the tenth arrondissement.
Or, Enjolras is suddenly poor and needs a job, and Grantaire happens to work at the same place. They end up having actual conversations instead of just shouting at each other, and Enjolras realises that he actually kind of enjoys Grantaire's company. Cue meandering chatter and clumsy handling of feelings.

(He stops breathing.)
Enjolras can feel his insides swelling. There is an invisible force pushing harder and harder against the lining of his stomach; ceaseless, incessant in its cruel demand.
He is going to throw up.
The mobile slips from his fingers and drops to the floor. The screen flickers – the message it had shown just a few seconds previously blinking rapidly with an almost eerie knowing. The words flash, twice – and they are gone, yet the image stays imprinted in his retina for the rest of the night.
His coffee is left unnoticed. He is awake, now.]

Enjolras is a doctor; Grantaire the alcoholic patient far too present a part of his life than he would like to admit.

Summary
'Once again the scratching of the nib of Enjolras’ pen can be heard over the muffled conversation and music leaking into the backroom from the front of the café. When he writes, Courfeyrac notes, Enjolras’ face is transformed in a different way to when he addresses a crowd with bloody rhetoric and calls to arms – he writes as though he is all but overcome by the strange all-consuming serenity of his purpose.
It is quite beautiful. Combeferre, his eyes gentle, has not stopped watching Enjolras since he put pen to paper once more; Courfeyrac can only assume he agrees.'

Summary
Enjolras has spent pretty much the entire bus ride to the Musain trying to predict how this will go, but the thing that surprises him isn't that Combeferre isn't the first to notice, or that Joly doesn't start spouting something about infant mortality rates and immediately demand that everybody bathe in Purell. No, what startles Enjolras the most is that he manages approximately half a step through the door into the back room where they all meet before Grantaire rattles his glass down on the table in the back that he's taken for his own and drawls, "Is there something you forgot to tell us, Apollo?"
That silences the room, predictably enough. Everyone breaks off their conversations and swivels to stare at him. At him, and at the baby carrier that he's got hooked over one arm.

Summary
Enjolras had never imagined missing his friends as much as he does, a visceral hole in his chest when he turns to say something to one of them and finds only blank space, but then he’s not been without Combeferre and Courfeyrac since they were seven and had joined forces to fight injustice, rallying together for a common cause.
(Or: Enjolras takes a year-long internship and the Amis send him videos of their lives in his absence.)

Summary
Art is what keeps him human, now. That, and the open road. It’s pretty easy to stay sober when you know your life and livelihood depend on a bike—with no walls of steel or air bags to protect you.
Or, that AU where Grantaire is a biker on the run from his demons, and Enjolras is a bartender and reluctant dancer who will do anything to get out.

Summary
I've been reading a lot of college AUs and I figured I'd try my hand at it.
After a falling out with his grandfather, Marius Pontmercy finds himself adopted into a new peer group. Despite love triangles, disappearances, an awkward as ass intervention, old secrets, old wounds, substance issues, and a whole host of other issues, the friends manage to advocate for social justice and even attend class every now and then.
This fic has a high rating and contains adult subject matter handled in a manner befitting adult discourse.
