And Anxin doesn’t need anyone sticking their nose into his business. He only needs to make a little show out of himself, to dramatically lament over his own frustrations. Dramatically enough that the people around him start thinking he’s being ridiculous, which in turn makes him feel ridiculous.
Which, in turn, can take his mind away from the fact that he’s in the fucking gutter.
So, Anxin spends a few more minutes there, unceremoniously sprawled over the sheets as he complains some more. He lays there, and makes sure to wait long enough before he moves his belongings over to Sangwon’s room. Long enough that all of the tension has completely seeped out of his body. Long enough that listening to Sangwon’s worries without spiraling back to his own starts sounding more like a plausible idea, and less like a one-line joke.
Because once Anxin steps into his and Sangwon’s shared room, Anxin intends to focus on Sangwon, and Sangwon only.
