“But you are. You’re my own little piece of hell. In such a short time, you reminded me that life isn’t only about being miserable and resigned. And that’s the cruelest thing I’ve ever felt. Your kindness has been the worst thing to happen to me lately.”
“I don’t really understand.”
“You make me want to live” Jisung clarified, as if needing Minho to understand exactly what he meant “To keep trying. And the awful part is that it’s impossible—I know it’s impossible. But I’m terribly grateful to you.”

Minho searched all across South Korea for Jisung, and when he finally found him, he pulled him into his arms—never noticing the mobster with a gun aimed at his back.

“Right. Thank you for your help, Jeongin-ssi. Do you think you could get Jisung-ssi to answer a couple of questions for us?”
Jeongin nods and turns to tap the crouching man in the yellow rainjacket on the shoulder. They are so near the edge of the cliff that Minho fears even the lightest tap will make him fall to his death.
He’s even more relieved that he’s not the one near the edge of the cliffs when Jisung turns around and almost gives him and Changbin a heart attack.The lower half of the man’s face is almost completely covered in a dark reddish brown smeared out substance, and his fingers are stained with the same color. His hair is flying in every direction and the contrast of the bright yellow and gritty bloody red makes him look like an uncanny monster right out of a horror film.
Changbin curses out loud and Minho inhales sharply in surprise. “Jesus fuck. What happened to you?”OR: When a series of strange events occur in a small coastal town, Detective Lee Minho must determine the commonality between a string of mysterious murders, fresh graves dug in the woods, and Han Jisung.
