Summary
Mike Wheeler is not the jealous type, unless it comes to his best friend Will Byers. When Will starts getting attention from other guys in college, something in him shifts. Will flirts with a stranger right in front of Mike at a frat party, and the jealousy he feels is stronger than he ever expected.
Mike knows, deep down, that what he feels for Will has been more than friendship for years. When Will confronts him, the night takes on a new kind of tension, and the air between them becomes charged with something neither of them can ignore.

Summary
"Is Will your boyfriend?" Holly asks, and Mike immediately chokes on the lettuce in his mouth.
"Wh- what?" he gasps, dropping his fork and swallowing back the salad that suddenly feels like cement in his throat. Holly's looking at him with a strange expression, like she's trying to figure something out.
"Will. Is he your boyfriend?" she repeats, even though Mike very obviously heard her, and the question doesn't feel any less shocking the second time.
"No!" He yelps. "No, why would you think that?"
Holly shrugs, taking another bite of spaghetti like this is a normal conversation and she is not slowly killing him. "Nancy calls him your little boyfriend sometimes, and Mom says he's your person, which basically means the same thing, and you live together and act like a couple and unpack groceries together, and- I don't know. Seems like it could be a thing."
holly visits college roommates mike and will, and has a few important questions for them

Summary
“So,” Mike starts, drawing out the word, and Will turns to him. “Any ideas on how to spend the next fifteen minutes?”
It’s teasing, suggestive when he wiggles his eyebrows, and it’s so unexpected that Will lets out a surprised laugh, unabashed, and it’s so easy, how the tension falls away, and it’s only them again.
“You’re ridiculous,” Will shakes his head, smiling, but Mike looks proud of himself anyway.
He points out, “I don’t hear you complaining.”
Will scoffs, nudging at him with an elbow. “Whatever,” he smoothly replies. Mike grins.
Will, Mike, and the numerous attempts at their first kiss.

Summary
“I’m sorry,” Will says again, just to make sure Mike knows, and it comes out more sensical this time, his voice croaking and worn out.
He can feel the brush of Mike’s chin on the crown of his head when Mike shakes his head. “Don’t be,” he replies, and he sounds certain. There’s a beat of silence, before he slowly questions, “Feel better?”
Will swallows, and gives a slow nod. Mike doesn’t let go.
Will wakes up from a nightmare, and Mike keeps him close.
