Holy butts, was this fantastic. Lots of goodies for people who are familiar with canon (as any parallel universe fic could be) and wow do I like this Stiles. He is ruthless, yes a sociopath, a manipulator, ridiculous, funny. Whiplash emotionally here.

Hermione is _so_ difficult and thus perfect.
I’ve reread this several times now and sincerely admire it for its flawed chatacters who are soooo different form each other. it’s actually great that each have their own epiphany and timing about love and that they also resonate with not only characters’ individual themes but the overall story themes as well. great writing. and dead funny.

One of the consequences is apparently finding himself courting an angel who is incomprehensibly attached to the Lord of the Files and Master of Torments. Love is a worse torment than even Dagon could dream up.

what’s the opposite of a rug-pull? well, author does that for a while here: keeps flourishing rugs and whisking them under you.
incredible period filigree, excellent book!husbands with a twist—a couple twists actually—and very funny stuff right alongside the heart-melting kind of stuff.
have now reread and had managed to forget the twists!! they are so GOOD and it’s suuuuuch a lovely funny fic.
