  3. Summary

This is an AU based on the November 11, 2003 episode of Ya-ya-yah, which is the "Law Quiz" episode. (See notes for a description of the episode.) It centers around the main character Kusano Kusao, a lovable idiot who can't do much of anything right, and his girlfriend (and later wife) Kato Shigeko, a shy and awkward but intelligent and successful model student (and eventually lawyer). Supporting characters include Kusao's best friend Koyama and his girlfriend/wife Yabuko, Kusano's friend from high school Hikaru, and Hikaru's high school crush Inocchi.

Basically, it's like a weird high school drama with characters based on the people who appeared in the episode. This is a universe about those characters. More than an AU of real life (where Shige and Yabu are gender-swapped), I sort of see them as separate characters.

  4. Summary

AU set in 1700s France where gender and sex aren't linked to societal roles. Very much not historically accurate. Loosely inspired by the Sexy Zone song and PV "King and Queen and Joker."
