Acquiring a bachelor's in your dream major and an associates in psychology, college was finally over. You, a man in his middle 20s, decided to take a year or two off from accomplishing your dream to work full time and save up. The need for yet another stable, consistent job became apparent due to your last as a bartender having fired. Down on your luck, you turn to friends and the newspapers to job search shortly after obtaining your bachelor's. A good friend of yours, Manon, suggested looking into a certain restaurant uphill. You’ve been there a couple years back. Fortunately, an almost month-old newspaper popped up and matched her description, still with an open spot. It was that famous bistro, they were looking for waiters, not exactly in your forte, but what's the harm in trying?
MAYBE FTM!Vincent x FTM!Reader, but also more engrossed in the world building of Dead Plate itself.

You've made a greeting with the Journalist, and you've had some pleasant exchanges with the Plinius Widow. Unfortunately, you haven't made quite the best impression for that talented composer, Mr. Kreiburg. However, you've yet to cross paths with that mysterious Novelist. Only having met during lunch and dinner, sitting beside each other in the bask of the sunlight and dimly lit candles.
Interested, he hints to you where his presence would be after dinner. You followed him in pursuit, interested in his mysterious and deceiving atmosphere.
You find him in the living room, in front of the fireplace waiting for you (End of Ep1 basically, except YOU ARE NOT ALICE).
