—until, he hears the click of a window latch sliding open.
rui’s eyebrows furrow. now that he’s paying attention instead of being lost in his thoughts, the click is outstandingly loud, and he doubts the notions of anyone else visiting the greenhouse this early into the morning. club activities took place after school, anyway.
it takes an embarrassingly long couple of seconds for the answer to dawn on him — there was an intruder in the greenhouse!
“excuse me, is there anyone there?”
a figure in the distance freezes, hands frozen in midair over the bed of sunflowers. from rui’s position, he can already tell some of the soil has been dug up in order to make the heist happen.
“..are you stealing?” rui asks slowly, mortified at the sight of his hard work being tampered with.

as valentine’s day draws closer, nene’s ominous message to rui has him riddled with conflict over what to do.
..and on top of all that, tsukasa suddenly has a secret admirer, and someone has been stealing his flowers!or : rui and tsukasa get played with like mice by emu ( and nene )
