So how did Sieun find himself in that situation? How did he find himself in a building, that was getting burned to ashes, minutes from falling apart on him, with no way out?Or,
what if Beomseok didn’t pay Wooyoung to beat Suho, but instead decided to ambush him in an abandoned building and set it on fire, just to scare him?
What if things didn’t go to plan, the situation got out of hand— and also, of course, Sieun took Suho’s place instead?

(What happened after Suho woke up?)
“Have you been well?”
Sieun opened his mouth, but no sound came out. There was a huge lump in his throat.
“Mhm,” he managed to hum in response.He saw Suho’s eyes shift to the friends standing quietly behind him. All three were watching them silently. They were aware of the heavy atmosphere, and they stood there carefully, even controlling their breathing so as not to disturb the moment.
“Who are those behind you?”
“My friends,” Sieun said, his voice hoarse and faint. He felt like he could cry at any second. Could Suho see the tears forming in his eyes even from this distance?
“I’m glad,” Suho said, a faint smile appearing on his face. Sieun felt that he looked relieved.
His breath caught. The weight of the air around him pressed down on his lungs. He took short, broken breaths. Now he was smiling too.
Finally, he thought.
