Kuroo’s big black eyes blinked only once in shock before he immediately burst into a sunny, almost unsettling, smile. “No way. So’s Kenma!”
Kenma, at his side, gave him a withering stare so severe that it could probably melt glass.
“Yeah,” Tsukishima said. “I know.”
“That’s so crazy. What if you two dated?” Kuroo said, stupidly, like the big stupid idiot that he was. He was lucky he had good looks to supplement his utter lack of brain matter--
“Don’t be stupid,” Kenma said, voice more audible than Tsukishima had ever heard it.
Oh, okay. Tsukishima snapped out his reply like blocking an attempt at a spike. “Are you kidding? Kozume’s so short. Look at him.” He met Kenma’s unreadable eyes, heart thundering in an echo of them together mid-match.
Kuroo seemed genuinely confused, head tilting. “Yeah, but he’s really hot. You look at him.”
