“who’s bothering my matthew?”
it’s jiwoong. he wraps an arm around matthew’s shoulder and instinctively, matthew leans into the touch. matthew doesn’t quite realize it himself, but he’s found a pillar, a solace of sorts that’s plastered up the holes in his heart. he isn’t as lonely, not anymore, because jiwoong sticks to him like glue and matthew never questions why.
“nobody is bothering your matthew,” gunwook replies, “i’m just saying that i’m plenty healthy! and i… i don’t want you guys to force yourselves to make me lunch everyday when you could be getting some extra rest.”
gunwook smiles, and matthew finds himself smiling too. he doesn’t catch the way hanbin stares at jiwoong’s arm around him, the way hanbin’s smile fades, just slightly, when jiwoong picks at some lint on matthew’s cheek. but taerae does.

jiwoong settles on a woody scent, and adds a little something else that gunwook can’t quite figure out. but the smell is surprisingly nice and manly, and while gunwook isn’t one to sniff out matthew (he can’t say the same for jiwoong), he does think that it’s something matthew will like. but it also … “why does it smell like something you would wear too, hyung? like, the smell sort of reminds me of you,” gunwook takes another whiff of it, and turns to look at his older brother.
jiwoong doesn’t look phased though, if anything he looks a little proud. “it does?” he beams, as thought that’s exactly what he'd been wanting to hear. and it was. “what a coincidence! hahaha!”
gunwook isn’t convinced that it was a coincidence at all. “you're like a cat peeing on it’s territory,” he mumbles.
“hey, enough!”
