Todoroki Shouto sits in the wooden bench that is situated in the middle of nowhere, draping his arms loftily across the back of the bench and screwing his eyes shut.
Another fight- fought and lost… he internally hisses. Well done, Shouto.
He tries to keep the images at bay. Tries. The insults. The swears. The yells. The shouts. Fistfuls of fire and ice. Venom spewing from his father’s tongue and his own. His sister, darting and posting herself between them, shouting for them to stop. Him, flicking an acidic glare at the hateful, hateful man before sprinting out the door, running God-knows-where. His sister, shouting for him to come back. Shouting, shouting, shouting-
“What the fuck’re you doin’ here, Half ‘n Half?”
...
After a heated fight with his father, Todoroki runs away from home and ends up on a freezing highway in the middle of winter, only to end up under the wing of an aggressively caring Bakugou, who accosts him with repeated questions and provides him with A) a sweatshirt B) a warm dinner at a diner and C) unexpected encouragement.
But on the other side of the spectrum, Bakugou thinks he's bitten off more then he could chew.

Summary
Touya looks at the seemingly bottomless pit below him once more, the thick clouds deceptively soft and inviting, and comes to a decision. He shuffles forward minutely before turning around, facing the angels instead of the drop behind him, spreading his scorched wings for all to see, hoping that in his final moments as a ‘real’ angel, someone will see the truth behind his injuries.
Whatever lie has been told regarding his beating from his father, it should be plain to see that the level of damage done to him isn’t proportionate — nothing is proportionate to trying to burn an angel’s wings, their lifeline, from their back.
“One last thing,” he says. “There is no more Touya Todoroki in your eyes, but in mine?” He pauses for dramatic effect — Natsuo always did say he had a flair for theatrics. “There is no more Touya. Today, the one who falls shall be recorded as the angel Dabi.”
He steps backwards.
He plummets.
Dabi falls to Earth and finds himself taken in by a pack of fallen angels, led by an Alpha that smells of black tea and pepper that draws Dabi's Omega in like a magnet.
It's a good thing Shigaraki's just as drawn to Dabi, too.

You could buy apartment buildings with that kind of money. Why are these people investing so much in this auction? What the hell. You could offer the guy some onigiri and he’d probably go out with you.
Bakugou gets roped into a charity auction for dates with the top pro heroes and he's totally not jealous of Shouto going on a date with some random extra
