Summary
Doyoung laughs a beat later, sound practiced and precise. “You mistake me as someone starving for scraps of love. I’m your soulmate, Watanabe, a better half, not a mirror.”
“Better? You think you’re better? I’m the sorry soul tied to yours.” Watanabe sneers, leaning down, “This is worse than corporal punishment, Kim.”
Cheeks straining from the stretch of his smile, Doyoung coos, “Corporal punishment? Wow. Don’t work your brain too much; it’s not used to it.”

Summary
“Watanabe can’t hurt me.” He hums, considering, “At least, not in a way that matters.”
“You don’t know that,” Junghwan argues, running a hand through his hair. “You can’t fucking know that.”
“Oh, but I do.” Doyoung laughs again, but this time, it sounds wrong. “Because I have you. You wouldn’t let him hurt me, right, Junghwanie?”

Summary
It’s the prime age for foolishness—poor judgment, stupid mistakes, and learning to do better comprise the creed of being nineteen. You’re young enough that your stupidity is still excusable and somewhat humorous. Mix that with a Halloween party with other teenagers, and it’s practically the crowning glory of youth and part of the stories you’d laugh at five years down the line.
At present, Jihoon is nineteen years of age and at a Halloween party.
He then meets a superhero, and the rest is history.

It’s safe to say, Hyunsuk had no idea what he was walking into the day he’d founded the club.
or
With each passing second, Hyunsuk finds himself wondering if he really knows who his friends truly are.
(The answer is no, he doesn’t, but he’s doing his best to learn.)
