“Gooood morning snoozing beauty,” Akarsha says as she settles into her seated position. Noelle gives her a sleepy smile as she lets out a yawn.
“You’re awfully chipper for it being almost eight in the morning,” Noelle said tiredly.
“Actually, it’s eleven am,” Akarsha grins.
“Eleven am??” Noelle’s eyes flew wide open as she made an earnest but pathetic attempt to remove herself from a reclining position to sit up. How could she have missed the alarm? “Akarsha let me up!!” she said in a panic, slapping at her girlfriend's knees to get her to move.
“Nope!! You’re stuck here today. Saturday.”
