Summary
Under the night pearls’ light, he can see the serene face of Luo Binghe above him, the edges of his face trimmed of all youthful fat, whiter than snow under the thick smears of dirt.
He stands over Shen Qingqiu’s bed silently. His hair is wild and messy, barely pulled back with a fraying bit of green ribbon; his clothing is torn and stained all over with what can only be blood, as if chunks of his flesh had been torn out again and again until the clothing was dyed through with it all; his body is taller and leaner than he recalls, honed to utter perfection from his time in the Endless Abyss.
Then, Luo Binghe smiles.
Luo Binghe returns early, and he wants. He wants Shen Qingqiu. He wants to love him, to hurt him, to burrow into him until they blend together as one being. Frightened at having all of the knowledge he's relied upon suddenly upended, Shen Qingqiu underestimates the depth of Luo Binghe's obsessive grudge against him.

Could it be? Could it be that Shen Qingqiu was alive somewhere else, living in a body that looked similar to how he did before, but different enough to make him appear to be another person? The more Luo Binghe thinks about it, the more likely it seems, and the more he realizes that he might not need that corpse back. If Shizun has already found his own body, one even more powerful than before, then who is Binghe to try to change him?
All he knows for now is that if it is Shizun, he can force him to come back. Shen Qingqiu has always been weak to his disciples, and Luo Binghe is confident that he can make Shizun want to return to him. He just needs a bit of time to prepare. He has to be ready.
He will make sure that Shen Qingqiu finds his way back to him.

Summary

Luo Binghe uses his dream powers to get closer to Shen Qingqiu. Shen Qingqiu, utterly oblivious, assumes they're actually just dreams.
