    When Suguru first enrolled at the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, Yaga made sure he understood exactly what he was getting himself into.

    He told him about the dangers. The sacrifices. The blood that came with the work, the years of training, and the early grave waiting at the end of it all.

    He told him that being a jujutsu sorcerer meant giving things up. He warned him about everything that mattered.

    Just not about Satoru Gojo.

    But perhaps there are some things no one can warn you about.

    A canon-divergent retelling of Satoru and Suguru's first year together in 2005, and of the relationship that slowly took shape between them, in spite of themselves.

     

    28/09/24: As they now no longer meet my standards regarding my own writing, the first few chapters of this fic will be rewritten. The story will remain unchanged, but the writing will be improved.
