   Summary

   In a time where the Crows thought they were once again invincible, flourishing in their respective lifestyles, news of Nina’s death hurtles them back to danger's edge. Zoya’s letters raised more questions than they answered and renewed older, peskier griefs.

   But mourning was the least of their worries. Even as corpses, Nina and Matthias were undermining national security on a level befitting the Merchant Council. Kaz was almost impressed.
