in which oikawa tooru, who hadn’t even realized his feelings for kageyama yet, suddenly challenged miya atsumu, who’d been pining for the talented, rich and beautiful kageyama since high school, into a competition of who could get kageyama to fall in love with them first.
at first, tooru just thought he’d only challenged atsumu on impulse like the piece of shit he usually was. but the more he got to know kageyama, the better he also seemed to understand himself, which then led him into finally realizing the feelings he’d had for kageyama since middle school, which then also led him into finally competing seriously.
although, there was still another problem: kageyama was an emotionless volleyball freak who’d rather spend his time playing volleyball than waste it on relationships.
