Summary
"Sawamura," Miyuki says, and there's something extra to his voice, something that makes Eijun want to lie on the floor and expose his belly and neck. Eijun shudders. "I—you can't stay here. It's not. You—" Miyuki makes a frustrated noise. "You stink of omega and it's driving me up the wall."
Eijun stiffens, dreamy feeling dissipating a little. "I do not stink!" he says. "I'm in the bath!"
"Not like that, you idiot—"
"And stop smelling me, that's so weird—!"

The tent itself isn’t exactly anything special, but it does the job to fit the both of them, though Isagi is dreading the squeeze it will be. He has no desire to be shoulder to shoulder with Kaiser.. huddled for warmth.. under the stars and-
“No,” he squeaks involuntarily, covering his mouth, and Kaiser looks at him like he’s a crazy person on the street and shrugs before hammering another stake into the ground.

Summary
Michael has spent most of his life feeling like a half formed thing. A weapon without a sheath. Beautiful but brutal, valuable but not lovable. He learned to live with it. Sharpened himself into something flashy and cruel and unstoppable, because if he couldn’t be loved, he could at least be feared. Worshipped. Hated.
And then Yoichi came along. Pathetic, weak, aggravating, brilliant, strong Yoichi. Who challenged him, fought him, shoved his buttons like he was born knowing exactly where they were—but stayed. Who looked at him like he was more than what he’d made of himself. Who made Michael believe it, no matter how long it took.
Sometimes Michael thinks Yoichi doesn’t even realize what he’s done to him. That the first time he ever felt like maybe he was good for something beyond malice was the day Yoichi reached out instead of pulling away. That the first real act of kindness that didn’t come with strings or pity came from a boy with soccer pitch dirt under his nails and calluses on his hands that fit entirely in Michael’s scarred, twisted ones, knuckles knobby and misaligned.

Summary
He thinks the notion that mothers love their children fiercely and would burn down the world for their children is a farce. A pretty lie made to move others and to write pretty words in poems and stories.
If a mother’s love was unconditional and if a mother would destroy the world to keep her child safe, then why didn’t Michael’s mother do the same?
