Doflamingo watched Monet's face carefully. Her eyes shut as if it might kill her, eyebrows tipped towards her bangs. She felt good. The way she offered herself, the way she starved for him. His palm burned, the ice of her skin stinging him where he pressed to the small of her back, where his hand rested close enough to her spine that he could bury himself into her to grasp it. He let out a long breath, one that emptied his lungs as he forced her to wait for him. She wouldn't move. She wouldn't ask for more and he knew it. She shook and leaked and trembled for him.

“What's it to you, huh? You gonna go file a complaint for me? Worry about yourself.”
The man laughs, brushing his knee as he crosses his legs again. “Well, I think if anyone hears your complaint it should be me.”
Sanji barks a laugh, turning in his seat to stare at him. He's got crazy eyes, he knows he’s got crazy eyes he can feel it.
“Yeah? Why's that? You gonna go back there and fix my car yourself? Guy like you?”
The man laughs again, his smile bright as he shakes his head. “No, nothing like that. But– as the owner, I should take your experience seriously, shouldn't I?”
Sanji's jaw tightens, embarrassment flooding him again.
“You're the owner? Yeah right!" he barks " If you're the owner, give me a damn discount then.” He scoffs.

If Rosinante were to date anyone, he’d probably be hoping to get married, huh? Sanji mulls it over. He’d be lying if he said he didn’t dream of some random future where he and Rosinante lived together. Where he got to spend his days coming home to him, cooking for them both. Maybe Rosinante's not married because he never wanted to be tied down or– maybe he’s just waiting on someone specific.
His stomach aches and he regrets the distant ‘someone like me’ that drifts abstractly through his mind. Because he knows that's not the case, but it could be. He’s getting his life together too. He could be someone that suits Rosinante.
