Summary
“Sarge! What a surprise, although this is a bad time. Come back in fifteen minutes?”
Valeriy loses his composure and an apology tumbles out of his mouth. He backs up, ready to flee the room, but Mitya’s scarf has other plans and shuts the door then locks it before Valeriy can make his escape, wagging a finger at him as if disapproving of his attempt at leaving. Funny, how this time it is Valeriy trying to make a run for it and not Mitya who doesn’t really look all too startled.
Valeriy gets caught eavesdropping on Mitya and Alyosha and is given the opportunity to watch or join in on their fun.

Summary
More of his sight is overtaken by black spots and he feels increasingly lightheaded. He’s losing too much blood too fast. Will Aedon be fast enough to get help? Will Captain Olsson’s sacrifice be for nothing? Illuga powers through despite the excruciating pain and how he stumbles, accidentally letting Ivar slip from his grasp in the process several times.
“I’m sorry,” Illuga says out loud, apologizing to his squad for what they have become, the enemy of which they gave their lives up fighting against. “I’m so sorry…”
A massacre at Kipumaki Cliff leaves Illuga as the sole remainder of his squad, though he does not come out unscathed. After narrowly escaping death a second time, he is left injured and guilt-ridden. Fortunately, he is not alone and Flins is there to nurse him back to health while helping him move forward in the right direction.

Summary
Illuga lets out a dejected sigh. He taps his fingers on his belly and fidgets, trying to get rid of his restless energy. Flins stops his fidgeting by placing a hand over his and he turns to press a kiss to the side of Illuga’s head.
“If you’re amendable, I can help you stop thinking about all of that,” Flins says lowly into Illuga’s ear. “And I can tire you out enough to take a nap. How does that sound?”

“So needy,” Flins tuts. “I always give you what you want but it never appears to be enough. I think it’s time to show you who is really in charge with some proper training, wouldn’t you say?”

Summary
They were supposed to go on a date this evening. Outside. But with the rain pouring down, seemingly with no end in sight, their plans for tonight have been canceled.
Flins notices the sad expression on Illuga’s face and places a hand upon his cheek. “Worry not, we can still have our date, but perhaps we can spend it inside instead?”
