Mike wakes up a decade in the future, a successful author and in a committed relationship with Will.

A moment later, Will pulled back with his brow furrowed. He touched his cheek in concern. “You okay, Mike?”
Mike managed a jerky nod. “Yeah, fine. You’re just…” He broke off to clear his throat and finally lifted his hands to place them on the small of Will’s back. Perfectly respectable. His skin was smooth and warm. Mike’s thumb moved with the dip in his spine, tracing along the curve. “You know.” Hot and on top of me.
Will smiled, pleased at that. “I do know,” he said loftily, and Mike got the sense he really did, and frequently used it against him to get his way. “But I like it when you tell me.” He folded his arms across Mike’s chest and rested his chin there, blinking up at him innocently, yet expectantly.

Summary
Then, in the most obvious way possible, his eyes rake over Will’s figure, lingering on the way his shirt hugs his stomach, and over the muscles in Will’s arms.
And then, to Mike’s absolute mortification, his younger-self flushes, cheeks growing impossibly red and eyes darting to the floor. Not in an obvious manner either, because Will immediately levels Mike with a questioning stare and a teasing smile which makes him want to crawl into a hole and die.

Summary
The anniversary effect is very real; they’ve all felt it. Especially Will, as another shiver racks through him, stronger than the last. This time, Will takes a step closer to Mike and presses their shoulders together. Whether it’s for body heat or comfort, Mike doesn’t know, but he isn’t going to complain.
If he can’t protect Will from the horrible memories and sleepless nights, he can at least protect him from the autumn breeze. He quickly tugs off his leather jacket and holds it out for Will to take, who looks down at it in surprise.
“What?” he asks, glancing between it and Mike, like he doesn’t know what to do with it.
“You’re cold,” Mike states, no room for question. He knows that Will would lie about it if he could.

Mike hates Valentine’s Day. It was fun as kids, when teachers would make every student decorate a little shoe box with pink and red heart stickers, that by the end of the day would be filled with cheesy Valentines and sweets.
But this isn’t kindergarten anymore— there are no school-enforced rules that his classmates have to give him a Valentine. He has to earn them. And he hasn’t.

Mike is (not) upset that he’s the only one of his friends that hasn’t received a Valentine. That is, until something just so happens to fall out of his locker the next day.

“Looks like I bit you.” Will tilts his head to get a better look. All Mike can do is stare at him. His fluffy hair at the front, clumped pieces at the back where he’d slid his fingers in a mere few minutes before. His pretty green eyes that look hazel or even brown in this light, the dark circles he gets when he drinks framing them like intricate paintings. A satisfied, bloody smile.
Mike isn’t satisfied. He swallows thickly, choking down the words 'don’t you want more?'
Or: Will dresses as a vampire for a college halloween party, but Mike thinks his costume isn’t bloody enough. Will lets him fix it. Mike goes into a crisis.
