One of the best fics I’ve read, certainly the best in this particular fandom. It feels like such a smooth continuation of the original story, picking up where ORV left off after Dokja’s scattered fragments started gathering again at the end. The OG ending felt so abrupt so this one was very cathartic, despite how tragic this first part ended up being. Keep an eye for possible 2nd continuation
I really appreciate first and foremost the visualization of most ancient dream’s abilities, the way Kim Dokja weaves fables, and the way Yoo Joonghyuk counteracted it by forcing Kim Dokja to visualize something into reality that went against what he wanted. Really exploits his inability to control his imagination outside of active dreaming. It’s very reminiscent of how unexpected the twists in ORV tend to be.
Highly recommend rereading, worth it.
